The notion of home, what it means, and where you can find it has remained a recurring theme on “Lucifer” from the beginning. After all, at the center of this show you have a character who, after being frustrated over his own situation in life (or what you could call life, given his mortality), decided that he was going to find a new home for himself working with Chloe. Remember, home is not necessarily a physical location, and there are a lot of different things that it could mean.
Therefore, we now move into the next new episode entitled “Homewrecker” ready and eager to see precisely what is coming up next, given that there are going to be so many different forces pulling at Lucifer to tell him that he doesn’t belong. Chloe may be one of the few who support him — which may make some of the ‘shippers out there of the two of them rather happy.
Synopsis – “Following the murder of the owner of the building in which Lux is located, Lucifer and Chloe search for the killer, while Lucifer also deals with the fact that the new owner wants to evict him and demolish the place. Lucifer goes to great lengths to protect his home, and is entirely shocked when Chloe is supportive of him. Meanwhile, Maze and Amenadiel follow Charlotte around, as she comes up with a plan to upset Lucifer enough to want to leave earth and go back to Heaven.”
Charlotte to us is the biggest threat that he has to sticking around on Earth in the long-term, largely because we’re not exactly getting much in the way of an indication from her at the moment that she plans on leaving him alone. She’s relentless, and eventually, she could be able to start to wear him down.
Promo – Yeah, this definitely makes it clear that there is some serious family drama brewing.
